About the Role

Join a dynamic and self-motivated Food & Beverage professional in the form of Head Waiter/Head Waitress to complement the team at Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas. It is a vital position in the provision of an exceptional gourmet experience through the efficient and quality service delivery between kitchen and outlet teams, with top satisfaction rating by guests.

You will be the Head Waiter or Waitress and you will train and motivate your team to produce quick, correct and personalized service and support their efforts to achieve the revenue targets of the outlet and the guest experience overall.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact closely with the Kitchen, Stewarding, and Outlet Cashiers for seamless operations day by day.
• Conduct team training regularly in accordance with departmental SOPs.
• Duties and responsibilities will include monitoring and managing duty schedules for designated staff.
• Ensure that the team members have adequate appearance and grooming standards.
• Setup of the Food & Beverage outlet in a timely manner, according to meal settings and service hours.
• Welcoming arriving guests , seating and stepping up in the absence of the hostess.
• Maintain good relationships with guests and keep it all professionally friendly for their satisfaction.
• Be informed on the menus, promotions and activities within the outlet.
• Support the management in attaining and maximizing the monthly targeted sales.

Minimum qualifications

• Hospitality diploma or degree or a related field for consideration.
• Not more than two years in similar Food & Beverage role.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Probably knowledgeable with the Micros system.
• Advantage if held a leadership or supervisory position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience, preferably in a five-star hotel environment or resort.
• Ability to coach and train a team and motivate them.
• Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced operations.
