Job Responsibilities

• You handle organizing and assigning daily tasks to the housekeeping attendants. This helps make sure everything runs smoothly on the guest floors with efficient service.
• You provide the necessary resources, like keys and supplies, to those attendants. They need these things for their daily work to keep things going without hitches.
• When guests have requests or complaints, you deal with them carefully. The goal is to resolve issues effectively so satisfaction stays high for everyone.
• You inspect guest rooms on a regular basis. Cleanliness has to meet the hotel’s quality standards, and you check that it all lines up properly.
• Keeping track of room status is part of the job. You communicate well with the front office department to support smooth operations across the board.
• If you spot damaged items or broken equipment, you report them to engineering right away. For lost and found items, you follow the set procedures to handle everything correctly.
• Ordering housekeeping supplies on time keeps things stocked. You manage inventory procedures so stock levels remain sufficient without any shortages popping up.
• Evaluating the performance of housekeeping attendants comes next. You give feedback and report any problems to the assistant executive housekeeper or assistant housekeeping manager.
• Training room attendants on the standards of performance or SOPs is important. This maintains the desired levels and upholds those quality assurance standards in the process.
• You uphold environmental, health, and safety standards too. Everything aligns with the organization’s policies to keep things safe and responsible.
• Sticking to the company’s environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies is essential. You follow them closely every day.
