Your Roles at Dubai Duty Free

1- Sales Assistant

Sales assistants are right there on the front lines, greeting customers and helping them out. You keep products looking sharp, run the point-of-sale systems, process all those transactions, and guide customers to what they want. Basically, sales assistants push to hit sales targets, give excellent service, and make sure the store stays neat and presentable. Airport retail spots move fast, so these assistants have to adapt quickly and stay focused on the customer the whole time.

2- Warehouse Assistant

At Dubai Duty Free, warehouse assistants handle the whole deal with merchandise flow. That means receiving stock, arranging it, storing it correctly, picking orders, replenishing stock, and transferring goods too. You keep things efficient, cut down on damage as much as possible, and aim for high accuracy in everything. Flexible shifts are part of the job and warehouse assistants do stock expiration checks, work with barcodes and pricing, clean up the warehouse, and chat with supervisors to get it all coordinated.

Warehouse Assistant Responsibilities

• Receive shipments of new merchandise. Then inspect everything for the right quantity, quality, and overall condition.
• Arrange storage, wrap items up, consolidate orders, pick what is needed, and get it all ready for shipping out or moving to retail spots. That keeps things flowing.
• Check expiration dates, scan barcodes or price tags, and follow those protocols on when stuff expires.
• Housekeeping is a big part. You keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized. Plus, you handle merchandise with real care.
• If there are any irregularities or discrepancies in shipments or stock levels, you report them right away.
• You operate safely, too. That means knowing about fire awareness, proper manual handling, safe lifting techniques for merchandise, and so on. Safety first, always.

Sales Assistant Responsibilities.

• Greet customers warmly. Figure out what the customer needs by giving expert advice on things like perfumes, luxury items, food, whatever it is.
• Handle product display and maintenance. Make sure goods look good, check that pricing is spot on, and keep shelves properly stocked. No empty spots.
• Using the cash register or other electronic point of sale systems comes next. You do it right, making sure all payments get recorded accurately. Counts every time.
• You aim to meet sales targets or quotas when those apply. Also, help out with promotions or marketing efforts. Pushes the sales along.
• Customer service is key here. You provide excellent service, stay courteous, always ready to assist. Resolve any inquiries or disputes quickly.
• You assist with stock transfers from the warehouse or restocking shelves. Occasionally, you help with inventory counts, too. Ties it all together.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or warehouse roles preferred
• Good English communication skills

• Presentable, motivated, and able to work in a team
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights
