Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable Accountant in Dubai. This job is best suited for those with 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance. Your responsibility is to monitor daily financial transactions, prepare accurate reports, and maintain company records. You will also assist in audits and support management in making financial decisions.

Core Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and keep the ledger up to date.
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and check accuracy.
• Assist in budgeting, planning, and controlling expenses.
• Ensure compliance with VAT laws and company policies.
• Provide necessary records and documents for audits.
• Monitor expenses and find savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with management in financial planning.
• Maintain sensitive financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1 to 2 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks or ERP).
• Understanding of VAT and financial laws.
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

Work Environment

• Office-based job in Dubai.
• Normal working hours, but some extra time may be required during audits or month-end.
