Automatic Shopping Bag Machine Operator

Job Description

We’re hiring a skilled operator for automatic shopping bag machines. You know, someone who runs them, keeps an eye on things, and makes sure everything stays in good shape. That way, we get efficient production of those high-quality shopping bags. Basically, the job means setting up the machines, fixing small problems on the fly, checking quality, and hitting those production targets while keeping safety in mind.

Key Responsibilities

You operate and monitor the automatic bag-making machines based on production needs. Set up the machines correctly with materials, tools, and specifications before starting a run. Adjust settings so the cutting, sealing, and printing all come out properly on the bags.

• Inspect the finished bags for quality and consistency.
• Make sure they match customer requirements.
• Do routine maintenance like cleaning and lubrication on the machines.
• Spot minor faults and troubleshoot them.
• Escalate the bigger issues to the supervisor.
• Load raw materials correctly, you know, films, rolls, inks, that sort of thing.
• Manage waste to keep it low.
• Work with supervisors and the team to hit daily targets.
