EWS is recruiting a Clinical Nurse 1 in Qatar. The role involves providing safe, effective nursing care to a select group of patients and their families, carrying out established nursing regimes and planning nursing care under the guidance of a preceptor or other designated RN.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing patients to identify normal and abnormal signs, symptoms and reactions
- Delivering safe, appropriate care using the nursing process, including administering medications and therapeutic agents
- Carrying out skin tests, immunisations, phlebotomy and the initiation of peripheral venous access
- Planning care based on assessment and initiating emergency procedures when needed
- Adjusting care for patients from diverse cultural, spiritual, age and family backgrounds
- Documenting patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record
- Working cooperatively with health care teams and sharing knowledge with colleagues
What You Need
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, with 1 year in the GCC preferred
- Strong skills in patient assessment, medication management and wound care
- Good teamwork, problem-solving and communication skills
- ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills

The role follows the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) Nursing and Midwifery Competency Framework and Scope of Practice, and meets the standards set by Joint Commission International and the hospital’s Plan of Care Policy.
