What You Will Do
We’re looking for a sharp Contract Manager who’s detail-focused and thinks strategically. This person will handle the whole lifecycle of procurement contracts from start to finish. It’s a key spot for keeping contract governance tight, making sure everything complies, and boosting operational efficiency everywhere in the company. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Legal, Finance, and the Procurement team. That means standardizing templates, sorting out approval workflows, and negotiating terms with suppliers.
The right fit here has real depth in contract clauses, ways to cut down risks, and solid procurement practices. Plus, they get excited about tweaking processes and helping push procurement forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Governance & Compliance: Make sure every contract gets structured right, stored properly, and lines up with internal policies and legal standards.
- Lifecycle Management: Take charge of creating contracts, reviewing them, getting approvals, executing, and tracking renewals.
- Template Standardization: Team up with Legal to keep contract templates fresh and loaded with best-practice clauses.
- Approval Workflow Management: Handle the hierarchies for approvals and push things up the chain when needed to dodge delays.
- Data Integrity & Reporting: Keep the contract repository clean and spot-on. Then whip up dashboards and reports on performance.
- Process Optimization: Spot chances to improve things and put them in place. Aim to shorten cycle times and ramp up efficiency overall.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Connect with suppliers and internal teams so contracts hit all the commercial and legal marks.
- Technology Oversight: Oversee tools like Coupa for solid tracking and to stay on top of compliance.
- Legal & Insurance Coordination: Help set up talks between suppliers, legal, and sourcing to wrap things up on time.
- Risk Management: Double-check that suppliers stick to insurance needs and other contract duties.
- Performance Monitoring: Keep tabs on SLAs, KPIs, and milestones. Ensure everyone meets their obligations under the contracts.
Qualifications & Experience
- You need a Bachelor’s degree in Business or something related.
- A CICCM certification or equivalent in Contract Management is preferred.
- Aim for 8–10 years in procurement or contract management.
- Show proven work in contract governance, reporting, and managing repositories.
- Bring strong experience collaborating with legal and finance teams.
Skills & Competencies
- Know your way around contract lifecycle management tools. Coupa is a plus.
- Have a firm grasp on procurement policies and how to mitigate risks.
- Be able to create and dig into contract performance reports.
