Job Description
Do you have experience operating a cash register? If you have worked as a cashier in a restaurant or food company, you are a good fit for this position. Work with us! As a cashier, your role will be to process cash transactions in the store. You should also have customer service experience and strong customer service skills, and you should be able to process receipts accurately while keeping the checkout area clean and organized.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet customers with a positive attitude.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized register area.
- Assist customers with inquiries or concerns.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and math skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer or POS system knowledge.
- Customer service experience preferred (not required).
- Must be punctual, honest, and reliable.
