Urbacon Saudi Company is recruiting a Senior Draftsman to join its team in Saudi Arabia. The role centres on organising, planning and supervising structural drawings, submittals and schedules, working closely with architecture and MEP works.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing detailed technical drawings, plans and diagrams using CAD software from sketches, specifications and design requirements.
- Creating and reviewing accurate production engineering shop drawings for standard and custom fixtures.
- Checking drawings for accuracy, completeness and compliance with standards, codes and project specifications.
- Coordinating with engineers, architects and contractors to resolve conflicts and keep designs consistent.
- Guiding and training junior draftsmen and sharing best practice across the team.
- Overseeing printing, plotting and distribution so drawings meet project timelines.
What you will need
- At least five years of working experience, including three years in a relevant role; two years of GCC experience is an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design, plus a professional qualification in AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost accounting and financial analysis, with good data analysis and communication skills.
- ERP experience, preferably SAP functional skills.
