Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide great service to them
• Take care of cash, card, and electronic payments with precision
• Give out receipts, refunds, and change according to the situation
• Keep the checkout area spotless and well-organized
• Make sure that prices and barcodes are current and right
• Help with packing the items if necessary
• Let the supervisor know about any differences or problems
• Abide by all the store’s rules and regulations

Requirements

• Prior experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred
• Elementary mathematics and computer skills are necessary
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required
• Honest, dependable, and meticulous are the traits we are looking for
• Availability for flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays is a must
• Understanding of POS systems will be an added advantage
