Job Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and giving them the best service possible
- To conduct cash, card, and digital payment transactions with precision
- To give receipts, refunds, and change as per the requirement
- To do the necessary cleaning and organizing in the checkout area
- To always check the prices and barcodes if they are current and correct
- To pack items together with the customers if necessary
- To bring any differences or problems to the attention of the supervisor
- To observe all the policies and procedures of the store
Requirements
- Preference will be given to applicants with previous cashier or retail experience
- Basic math and computer skills
- Must possess good communication and customer service skills
- Honest, dependable, and meticulous are the traits expected
- Will be required to work flexible shifts that may include weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage
