Job Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide great service to them
- Take care of cash, card, and electronic payments with precision
- Give out receipts, refunds, and change according to the situation
- Keep the checkout area spotless and well-organized
- Make sure that prices and barcodes are current and right
- Help with packing the items if necessary
- Let the supervisor know about any differences or problems
- Abide by all the store’s rules and regulations
Requirements
- Prior experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred
- Elementary mathematics and computer skills are necessary
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are required
- Honest, dependable, and meticulous are the traits we are looking for
- Availability for flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays is a must
- An understanding of POS systems will be an added advantage
