Warehouse Accountant – Walk-in Interview in Ajman

A walk-in interview will be held by RN Cold Storage, located in Ajman, in order to hire a Warehouse Accountant. The main duties of the position are daily financial record management, inventory reconciliation, report preparation, and VAT compliance assurance. Applicants need to have at least three years of accounting experience, be proficient in Excel, and have knowledge of warehouse or logistics operations. The salary will be between AED 3,000 and AED 5,000, plus benefits according to UAE law.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Oversee all fiscal and accounting operations concerning the storeroom and refrigeration activities.
• Be specifically in charge of all finance activities throughout the department.
• Log every day transactions such as expenses and inventory changes.
• Make sure that the numbers match by comparing the warehouse inventory with the accounts.
• Compile monthly financial reports, statements of profit and loss, and balance sheets.
• Keep an eye on and manage costs, making certain that resources are used efficiently.
• Work closely with the warehouse and operations teams to verify invoices, process payments and conduct stock audits.
• Make sure that all financial documents are in accordance with UAE VAT regulations and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits as needed.
• Keep financial and inventory records accurately documented and filed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree or a diploma in the field of accounting, finance, or a similar area.
• A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience is required, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment.
• Excellent knowledge of inventory accounting and cost control.
• Knowledge of UAE accounting standards and VAT requirements is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ERP or accounting software (e.g., Tally) is a must.
• Cold chain operations and logistics processes knowledge would be a big advantage.
• One should possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Excel and accounting software are the main tools one should be proficient in.
• Data entry with high accuracy and meticulous attention to detail are strong points.
• Independent preparation of reconciliations and financial statements is one’s capability.

Soft Skills

• Superb communication and coordination skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Always a team player and flexible to the dynamics of a rapid work environment.
• Very honest and professional in attitude.
