Key Responsibilities by Role
The duties of the Assistant Manager of Food and Beverage will involve managing the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets, assisting and participating as necessary for event planning, and managing complaints from guests.
- Front Office Manager: The Front Office Manager will manage the day to day activities of the Front Desk while being a part of the training of the staff. The Front Office Manager is involved in the process of checking guests into and out of the hotel.
- Maintenance Technician: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for general maintenance to include plumbing, electrical, and minor repairs to all parts of the building and guest rooms.
- Housekeeping Supervisor: The Housekeeping Supervisor will direct the housekeeping shift, provide oversight and ensure the quality of cleaning and follow up on guest requests about housekeeping within the room.
- Kids Club Supervisor: The Kids Club Supervisor will develop and implement creative programming for children while providing supervision, safety and enjoyment of all children attending the Kids Club.
- Laundry Attendant: The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for laundering, ironing and handing out all linens and department uniforms that belong to the hotel.
- Valet Parker: The Parking Attendant will provide valet service, monitoring and safeguarding the vehicles of hotel guests for the duration of their stay.
- Kitchen Helper: The Kitchen Helper will assist the kitchen staff in keeping the kitchen clean, wash dishes, and assist with food preparation.
- A/C Technician: Assess, repair, and service air conditioning equipment throughout the hotel.
- Recreation Receptionist: Support guests using the Recreation and fitness areas; book and confirm bookings for the fitness and recreation areas; and provide information about the facilities and local area.
- Commis I: Assist the kitchen staff to prepare the highest quality food, maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining service areas.
- Lifeguard: Monitor guests in pools (and other aquatic areas) to ensure their safety and respond immediately to emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Some experience (1-3 years) in a hotel or similar position.
- Good English communication skills. (Knowing Arabic is a plus.)
- Able to work quickly and focus on helping guests.
- Appears professional and has a positive attitude.
- For technical positions (such as A/C technician or lifeguard), you must have the correct certification.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Worked for other international or luxury hotels.
- Can speak other languages ​​(such as Arabic, Russian, French, German, or Chinese).
- For leadership roles, experience managing a team.
- Understands local culture and hotel standards in the UAE.
- Has taken additional training in customer service, food safety, or health and safety.
- Available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
