What These Roles Usually Involve
A CNC bending operator usually sets up and runs machines that bend metal into a required shape. A QC inspector usually checks finished parts against set standards and records the results. An electrical maintenance technician usually inspects, repairs and services electrical equipment so that it keeps working safely. A tool and die technician usually makes, sets up and repairs the tools used to shape and cut materials. The exact duties will depend on the role and the employer.
