The Palace LXR Hotels & Resorts is recruiting a Housekeeping Attendant in Qatar. The role is responsible for keeping guest rooms and common areas clean, tidy and well organised, so that guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming stay.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture and restocking amenities.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers and floors.
- Change linens and towels according to the hotel’s standards.
- Keep hallways, lobbies and staircases clean and welcoming.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in the correct areas.
- Report maintenance issues and damage in guest rooms or public areas.
- Follow cleaning procedures, safety guidelines and sanitation protocols.
- Keep housekeeping carts, storage areas and linen cupboards tidy.
- Help track stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens and amenities.
- Handle guest requests and concerns courteously and promptly.
- Work closely with housekeeping colleagues and other departments.
- Log and store lost and found items securely until claimed.
- Protect the privacy of guests’ belongings and personal information.
What you need
- Proficiency with cleaning methods and equipment.
- A keen eye for detail and high cleaning standards.
- Good time management and the ability to work to set timeframes.
- Clear, professional communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, sanitation standards and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- At least 3 years’ work experience, including 2 years in a relevant role.
- Experience in the GCC region is an advantage.
- A High School Diploma.
