Consolidated Engineering Systems Company is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to work in Qatar. The role works under the general guidance and supervision of the Maintenance Engineer and leads a team responsible for keeping electrical, plumbing, ventilation and other outlet systems running safely and without interruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage breakdowns and planned maintenance so that internal customer needs are met, always within defined safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance tasks and review equipment deficiencies, taking corrective action where needed.
- Work to zero downtime by planning and executing maintenance across all outlet equipment.
- Carry out inspections for hazards such as trip risks, faulty lighting, broken parts and exposed wiring.
- Introduce and reinforce safe working practices, and keep shop and storage areas clean, organised and stocked.
- Maintain adequate inventories of tools, supplies and parts, and plan training to keep team skills up to date.
What You Need
- A background in maintenance across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and building systems.
- Proven ability to lead, supervise and train maintenance staff.
- Good communication skills for working with staff, management and contractors.
- Experience with preventive maintenance scheduling, with SAP functional skills preferred.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Facilities Management, or a professional qualification in MMUP or Facility Management, plus UPDA engineer registration.
Experience
Applicants should have at least 5 years of working experience, including 3 years in a relevant role. Two years of GCC experience is an advantage.
