Aura International is hiring a Runner in Qatar to join its front-of-house team. The role focuses on getting food and drinks from the kitchen or bar to customers’ tables quickly, accurately and courteously, helping to keep service smooth and guests satisfied.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen or bar to customers’ tables promptly and accurately.
- Check that orders are complete and correctly presented against the order ticket.
- Help keep the dining area clean and organised, including clearing and resetting tables.
- Liaise with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate deliveries and handle special requests.
- Answer customer questions and deal with concerns in a professional manner.
- Work alongside servers and hosts to deliver a positive dining experience.
- Support the wider restaurant team, for example by bussing tables and refilling drinks.
What You Need
- At least 3 years of working experience, including 2 years in a relevant role.
- Good knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods and dietary requirements.
- Strong communication skills and close attention to detail.
- Ability to manage several orders at once while keeping service timely.
- A commitment to excellent customer service and a calm, positive attitude.
Other Details
GCC experience of 2 years is considered an advantage. The role also looks for resilience, guest relations, food service knowledge, safety compliance and an understanding of inventory management.
