QatarEnergy is hiring a Senior Systems Analyst (Logistics) to work in Doha, Qatar. The role sits within the supply chain part of the company’s SAP S/4 HANA transformation programme. The analyst will give specialist support to the Procure to Pay (PTP) and EWM workstream.
The main purpose of the job is to help with the migration and consolidation of supply chain activities. The analyst will also advise the System Integrator team on key design decisions that aim to improve business processes and functions, based on careful analysis and consultation. The role supports the Head of the area and works closely with Business Process Owners to make sure supply chain business requirements are met and the move to the new S/4HANA system goes smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Provide specialist support to the supply chain (PTP and EWM) workstream in the SAP S/4 HANA transformation programme.
- Support the implementation and consolidation of supply chain migration activities.
- Guide the System Integrator team on design decisions that improve business processes and functions.
- Work with the Head and Business Process Owners to deliver supply chain business requirements.
- Support a successful transition to the new S/4HANA system.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of professional work experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of hands-on SAP implementation or support experience.
- Experience on at least one project that covered the full life cycle of SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Procure to Pay.
- A strong understanding of procurement and/or contract services, including procurement, MRP, inventory and warehouse management, logistics and contract services.
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, petroleum, management or an equivalent qualification.
Other useful details
- Professional certifications, such as SAP MM or SAP S/4HANA Logistics, are a plus.
- Experience of working with SAP AI and machine learning solutions in S/4 HANA sourcing and procurement would be an added advantage.
